The Prime Minister of Australia has announced that Australia’s borders will be fully reopened on 21 February 2022 to all double vaccinated travellers, business people and visitors!
That means all visa types and subclasses!!!
Those who are not vaccinated will be required to apply for a travel entry exemption and undertake quarantine if granted permission to enter the country.
The reopening will be welcome news for many employment sectors who haven’t been able to access skills under the existing exemptions and allowances.
It is also great news for anyone wanting to visit Australia and see first hand where they might wish to live and work before committing to an immigration process.
Since the government commenced Australia’s staged international border reopening on 1 November 2021 there has been almost 580,000 arrivals come to Australia including those coming to reunite with loved ones, work or study.
